We took the boat out to Quail lake on Tuesday evening (8/5/08). It looked like it was going to rain, and we went back and forth on whether or not it would be worth it to try to launch the boat. Garrett looked up the weather, and made an executive decision that it would not rain. (Lucky for him, he was right; or the masses may have gathered against him!) That is Jen's dad driving the boat, and brother (Darrin) with his wife (Aliese) in the background.
Grandpa Fry pulled Garrett around on the skiis while we blew up the raft. Garrett is a little sore, as it has been a few years since he last used the skiis! He even took the wise cracks in stride (its just like learning to fall off a bike - the falling part)! Matthew was very funny while Garrett was skiing. When Garrett was up, he was cheering. When Garrett fell, Matthew turned on the tears, crying "My daddy died!" Other than that, he loved being on the boat. 
Our nephew, Byron, wanted to try the skiis out, so Garrett helped him get them on. Byron gave it a few good tries, and he nearly made it up. Next time kid!!
Grandpa pulled the boys (Tanner, Landon, & Byron) in the raft (not too fast, of course). They had a great time until Grandpa swamped them. They were were a little nervous about falling in the lake!
When the girls (Jen's sister, Amy; Sister-in-law, Aliese; and niece Miranda) took a turn, it was super slow! Apparently the drag was rough on the behind going that slow!!
There was no mercy when Garrett and Nathan (Jen's brother-in-law) took a turn! Grandpa Fry pulled them over the wake. It was so funny to watch as the waves rolled the raft onto itself, and Garrett and Nathan into each other. It was easily the best comedy routine of the night. 
Nikki is not so sure that she likes the boat. She was very concerned about everyone in the water, and didn't want Grandpa to go very fast! Grandma Fry completely agrees!! Good thing that Grandpa never makes anyone get in the water if they don't want to! Our niece, Miranda, is in this picture with Nikki. 
Tanner is a fish! He had a great time on the boat and in the water!We had so much fun, and the sun set too soon!

I wish we could go out on the boat more often!! I absolutely love it.
We did have a fabulous time diddn't we?! I love it when you guys are here. We do all kinds of fun stuff.

That looks like so much fun! We went to Lake Powell a LONG time ago and I remember how fun that was. Thanks for posting these awesome pictures!
