North C Springs Stake Aaronic Priesthood Camp-out & Fun at Home

Last weekend Tanner & Garrett attended our Stake Aaronic Priesthood Camp-out at Camp Joseph in the mountains south-west of Pueblo, Colorado. Friday evening the boys staked out their sleeping spots in an enclosed pavilion and participated in a Fireside. Temperatures reached a balmy 15 degrees, but they stayed warm enough in the heated pavilion. Saturday morning they endured a 3 hour game of capture the flag against 8 other wards. Our Gleneagle boys took 1st place! The boys fell asleep in the truck on the way home - they earned it!
Here at home, Nikki spent the evening with her friend from next door. They tried out new hair styles and painted their fingernails. Matthew wanted to participate in the fingernail painting, insisting that boys wear nail polish too! Matt and Jen ended up watching cartoons and playing video games. All in all, a fun weekend!

If given the choice, I think I'd take the new hair styles and fingernail polish over camping in the cold! Regardless, glad everyone had a good time.
